Working at CareDenza
CareDenza is a small founding team: a physician who still practices hospital medicine and an engineer who builds the product end to end. We're based in Newbury, Massachusetts, and we work on one of the most stubborn problems in healthcare — what happens to patients in the days after they leave the hospital.
Small team, real stakes. The code you write reads a patient's discharge paperwork, schedules their medications, and tells their daughter two states away that today went fine. We hold ourselves to the engineering standards that kind of trust deserves — encryption everywhere, an audit trail for every change, and a design practice centered on patients in their seventies and eighties, not power users.
Who we want to hear from
We don't keep a list of open requisitions. We're a startup — the shape of the next role is set by the person who fills it. If any of these sound like you, we'd genuinely like to talk:
- Engineers who like owning a product surface end to end — native iOS or Android, backend on AWS, or the infrastructure and security work underneath it.
- Clinicians — physicians, pharmacists, nurses, case managers — who see discharge fail from the inside and want to fix it with software.
- People from neither bucket with a story about why post-discharge care matters to them. Many of our best ideas started as someone's family story.
How to reach us
Email careers@caredenza.com with a few sentences about yourself and why this problem matters to you. A resume or LinkedIn helps; a portfolio, repo, or published work helps more. A real person reads every note, and we reply to all of them.
